ABOUT MICHAEL MILI   -   WRITER / ACTOR

Before writing several screenplays and before forming Mili Entertainment, Michael Mili had immersed himself in the entertainment industry. Michael has worked or appeared in, and received acting and or production film credit for over twelve films. Some of those films include Billy Crystal's *61, Hardball staring Keanu Reeves, Collision Course staring Pat Morita. Furthermore, Michael worked for six years as a stand-up comic under the stage name "Spiro" appearing at: Chaplin's Comedy Club, Main Street, The Mosquito etc.

In 1999 Michael Mili became the Director of New Markets for Schinker Entertainment. He oversaw the development and implementation of all new one-of a-kind mobile promotional attractions and technologies.  Mr. Mili worked with such studios as 20th Century Fox, Searchlight, New Line Cinema, Miramax, MGM, Columbia / Tri-Star / Sony, etc.

Prior to joining Schinker Entertainment Michael along with Johnny Anton were the co-owners of Pharoh's Golden Cup, which conducted all age musical events.  In his six years at Pharoh's, Michael & Johnny produced over 850 events involving over 3500 bands. 

Michael, along with his former business partner, writer now Filmmaker Johnny Anton, wrote a screenplay called "Five Years in The Pit"  loosley based on their expierences at Pharoh's. Michael is married to Miki; Together and they have five children.

Together with Thomas Ventimiglio, Michael wrote two screenplays; “The Mamaluke” and “Uncle Fino.”  Along with
Andy Collen, of Happy Trails Animation, Michael created and wrote the animated feature: “The Blowfeld Bears., “Eddy The Unending Life,” and several animated features for The New Three Stooges which is also in development.  

Finally, Michael has teamed up with fellow actor and friend Rich Goteri; together they’ve co-written several screenplays; of which two of them are: “Potty Time” and “A very Low Carb Movie.”  Rich and Mike have compiled and developed a method of applied writing principles, which they called: “WORDS TO FILM BY.”   Together, they have determined to share the method with everyone who wants to give Screenwriting a shot.  The book of the same name is set for release sometime this year.

Amongst MICHAEL mili’s other written works: Michael wrote and illustrated: 101 Uses for the Dirty Disposable Diaper and Tasso’s Big Book of Humor.  Michael is putting the final touches on his novel; an epic based on three generations of his family, America and the early days of the Mob.

* Michael's father, Pantelis Michael Mili was an acomplished ceramic artist / sculptor. His grandfather Michael Mili Kashalos of Cyprus was a world renouned painter and sculptor.  Kashalos' works are displayed in museums around the globe.
